Own a piece of Americana, this is a beautiful 1930 Ford Model A Cabriolet with Rumble Seat. This is the vehicle that replaced the Model T and went on to become a huge success for Ford Motor Company. This vehicle was produced from 1927-1931. Back in 1930, you could buy this beauty for approximately $385. The engine is a water-cooled L-head 4-cylinder with a displacement of 201 cubic inches (3.3 L). This engine gives the car 40 horsepower. Typical fuel consumption is around 25 and 30 mpg using a Zenith one-barrel up-draft carburetor, with a top speed of around 65 mph (104 km/h). The transmission is a 3-speed sliding gear unit with a 1-speed reverse. The Model A has a 4-wheel mechanical drum brakes. I acquired this beauty from an estate sale, the person who owned this fine vehicle owned other fine vehicles that were all sold off in his estate sale. This beauty appears to have all the appropriate markings and is date appropriate. It does not appear it has had any major cosmetic restoration and everything appears to be original and accurate with the vehicle. The exterior is in great condition and shows very well along with the interior. The vehicle starts right up and the engine purrs like a charm, runs and drives excellent. The top is in very good condition with no major rips or tears. Driving this vehicle is an adventure and it is definitely a head turner when pulling up to your local ice cream store. This vehicle would be a great addition to your collection and certainly a piece that anyone would be proud of. I have a legal title for the vehicle as well to help facilitate the transaction.
